Biographical Information[edit]
Obdulio Valentin played for the Puerto Rican national team in the 1973 Amateur World Series (winning Silver), 1975 Pan American Games and 1977 Intercontinental Cup. He led the 1978 Central American and Caribbean Games in strikeouts, helping Puerto Rico to a Bronze Medal. He was also with Puerto Rico in the 1979 Intercontinental Cup and for a Bronze Medal in the 1979 Pan American Games.
