Biographical Information[edit]
O-hyeon Kwon played for South Korea in the 1998 Baseball World Cup, going 1-for-7 with two times hit-by-pitch and a double. Backing up Han-lee Park in left, he had one putout. The Lotte Giants drafted him in the 4th round of the 1997 KBO draft, but he decided to go to college first, so he joined the team in 2001. Kwon was 2-for-18 in his first season, then he hit .176/.265/.257 in 45 games in 2002. He recorded a .212/.268/.346 batting line in 2003, but he stayed in the minors for the entire 2004 season then the Giants released him.
