Biographical Information[edit]

Noboru Kitahara was a second baseman and shortstop for Nankai. He hit .333/.404/.451 in 14 games in 1941 but fell to .249/.342/.295 as a regular the next year. Overall, he had a .264/.352/.322 batting line in his career. He drafted into the Japanese military in 1943 and died of tuberculosis while serving during World War II.
