Nintendo
(Redirected from Nintendo of America)
Nintendo is a Japanese computer game company which has produced a number of baseball games. The company's American division, Nintendo of America, became the owners of the Seattle Mariners, purchasing the club in 1992 from Jeff Smulyan. Chairman and C.E.O. Howard Lincoln represented N.O.A. on their behalf in business dealings.
On April 27, 2016, Nintendo announced that it would be selling its majority shares in the team to current minority owners, a move coinciding with Lincoln's decision to retire. The new ownership group was headed by John Stanton.
