Biographical Information[edit]
First baseman Nick Stanley hit .214/.294/.312 in two seasons in the New York-Penn League.
After his playing career ended in 2010, Stanley was "offered an opportunity to head overseas and coach baseball in New Zealand. “It’s a small, growing, grassroots program,” he said. “Me and a few other people I know got plugged in with their national program. Several young players from the program have gone on to play baseball in the United States. One of them was Connor Gleeson, a New Zealand kid, who I coached.”[1] Stanley coached in New Zealand for several years.
Prior to coaching with the Milwaukee Brewers, Stanley spent the 2017 season as a coach for the St. Petersburg College Titans. He had also coached there in 2010.
Stanley coached hitters for the DSL Indians/Brewers in 2018 and Rocky Mountain Vibes in 2019. In 2020 he was scheduled to manage the AZL Brewers Gold before the coronavirus pandemic caused the minor league season to be cancelled. Stanley was hitting coach for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers in 2021-2022 and bench coach for the Biloxi Shuckers in 2023. Stanley became a manager with the Carolina Mudcats in 2024.
