Biographical information[edit]
Nick Perlozzo is the brother of Sam Perlozzo and the uncle of Eric Perlozzo. He played two years in the minor leagues. Nick played for the 1970 and 1971 Tri-City Padres. The first season, Nick hit .275/~.372/.428 in 78 games and stole 18 bases in 21 tries. In his second year, the first baseman batted .288/~.419/.398 with 22 steals in 30 tries. He led the Northwest League with 8 times caught stealing. He drew 60 walks and scored 67 runs in 73 games. He tied Marc Rhea for second in the NWL in runs and was third in walks. Despite this productive play, he never played again in the minors.
