Biographical Information[edit]

Nicholas Eagles hit .182/.208/.182 for South Africa in the 2018 U-23 Baseball World Cup but handled 14 chances error-free at second base. [1] He made the senior South African national team for the 2019 Africa Cup Baseball Championship. He was 3 for 7 with a run and 3 RBI for the tourney champs, backing up Jonathan Phillips at short and Darren Boltman at third. The team advanced to the 2019 Europe/Africa Olympic Qualifier. [2] He also was on South Africa's team for the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers but did not get into a game. [3]
