The New Orleans Crescent Stars was a minor black team that helped produce several Negro Leaguers. Hilton Smith, Gene Bremer, Harry Else, Zollie Wright, Popsickle Harris and Pepper Bassett all played for the team, while Felton Snow managed them at one point.
