The New New York Mets play Blernsball (the futuristic version of baseball in the Futurama universe). A quite obvious ripoff of the New York Mets. They have the same team colors and name logo as the Old New York Mets.

The New New York Mets are portrayed as a team of bumbling idiots, with a clown playing shortstop.
