Biographical Information

Relief pitcher Nelson Gonzalez has played in the Colorado Rockies minor league system since 2007 (through 2014). He was signed by the club as an undrafted free agent on January 2, 2007.

From 2007 to 2009, he played for the DSL Rockies. In 2010, he was with the Casper Ghosts and in 2011, with the Tri-City Dust Devils, he went 7-0 with a 1.71 ERA in 20 appearances (4 starts). He pitched for the Asheville Tourists in 2012, the Modesto Nuts in 2013 and began 2014 with the Double-A Tulsa Drillers.
