Biographical Information[edit]
Ned Bergert was the chief trainer of the Angels for many years through 2010.
Bergert started his career with his hometown Quad Cities Angels in 1975. In 1979, he moved up to the California Angels as assistant trainer. He became head trainer in 1991. He worked the 1992 All-Star Game and 2001 All-Star Game and worked with the MLB All-Stars who toured Japan in 2004. He won the Athletic Trainers Service Award from the National Athletic Trainers Association in 2005.
