Biographical Information[edit]
Nazario Cruz was on the Dominican national team that won the Gold Medal in the 1962 Central American and Caribbean Games. He made his pro debut with the 1963 Grand Forks Chiefs, going 3 for 18 with a double, triple, 2 runs, 3 RBI and 5 walks. In his winter league debut, he hit .160/.148/.280 in 10 games for the 1963-1964 Tigres del Licey. He batted .222/.348/.333 in 12 contests for the 1964-1965 Tigres. He ended his career with the '65 Shelby Rebels, going 0 for 9 with 4 walks.
