Biographical Information[edit]
Shortstop Napoleón Romero was the last surviving member of the Nicaraguan national team from the 1948 Amateur World Series. He also was with them for the 1950 Central American and Caribbean Games and 1953 Amateur World Series. His wife was a member of a Nicaraguan women's team that toured the USA in 1940 and one of the first female sportscasters in Nicaragua.
