Mudiwa Gamanya
Mudiwa Gamanya was the starting second baseman for the Zimbabwean national team in the 1999 All Africa Games, hitting 3rd in the lineup usually. He hit .286/?/.357 and made two errors. He stole two bases. He drove in all five runs, all in a romp over last-place Uganda. Despite his prominent spot in the batting order, he was only 8th on the team in hits and 4th in RBI. He also pitched one game, relieving Nhauro Mpanguri and working the final two innings (3 H, 1 BB, 1 ER, 0 K). Only Mpanguri wound up with a lower ERA for Zimbabwe as they won the Bronze Medal.
