Mount Nebo, PA

Mount Nebo is located in southern Pennsylvania, just east of the Susquehanna River and 10 miles south of Lancaster, PA. It is named for the location in present-day Jordan from which the prophet Moses was shown the promised land before he died, a choice of name that is not entirely surprising for a state that also includes the towns of Bethlehem and Nazareth.
