Biographical Information[edit]
Moon-soo Kim pitched in the Korea Baseball Organization for 4 years.
Kim was drafted by the Samsung Lions in the third round of the 2003 KBO draft, and he surrendered 4 runs in 2 1/3 inningd in his first season. He only pitched 2/3 of an innng with the big club in 2004, and he missed the next two seasons due to military service. He also represented South Korea in the 2005 Baseball World Cup, allowing four runs in 6 1/3 IP. Kim had a 2.25 ERA in 11 games in 2007 after returning, and he pitched 8 games with a 8.10 ERA in 2008. He never made another appearance with the big club until he announced his retirement in 2009.
Overall, Kim was 1-1 with a 5.40 ERA and struck out 9 in 21 2/3 innings in 4 seasons in the KBO.
