Modesto Luis Jhonson

Modesto Luis pitched 101 games in five seasons in Cuba. He went 10-27 with eight saves, a 5.39 ERA and .300 opponent average. He had one bright spot on November 18, 1997. Pitching for Las Tunas, he not only had his lone career shutout, but he threw a no-hitter against Granma. It was the first no-hitter ever by a Las Tunas hurler.
