Biographical Information[edit]

Mitch Stetter pitched for several years in the major and minor leagues. Stetter was pitching for the Milwaukee Brewers in 2009 when he recorded 15 consecutive outs via strikeout, a Brewers record. As a child, Stetter idolized Ken Griffey Jr. and collected his baseball cards. One of Stetter's most memorable baseball moments was striking out Griffey in Stetter's second major league appearance.

After his career ended due to a creaky back, he became a coach in the Kansas City Royals system. In 2023, he was named bullpen coach for the major league team.

Stetter also served as the 2017 pitching coach for the Surprise Saguaros in the Arizona Fall League.
