Minamikyushu is located on Satsuma Peninsula, at the southern tip of Kyushu Island on the South China Sea, immediately east of Makurazaki, Kagoshima and 20 miles south of Kagoshima, Kagoshima. Masaaki Iwashita and Yosuke Shimokubo was born here.
