Biographical Information[edit]
Min Park has played in the Korea Baseball Organization and for the South Korean national team.
He hit .306/.333/.333 for South Korea when they finished third in the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup, fielding .964 at short. He tied for 7th in the event with five double plays turned. [1] Remaining with them for the 2019 Asian Championship, he was 5-for-12 with 3 walks, 3 runs and a RBI as a part-timer at third base. He tied for 6th in the event in walks. [2] The KIA Tigers took him with their second pick of the 2020 KBO draft. [3] He was 0 for 1 with a walk and a run for the Tigers in 2000 as Ju-hwan Na started at third.
Park was the backup shortstop for KIA in 2021, hitting .171/.237/.200 in 18 games then was 0 for 2 in 2022, when he missed time due to serving his mandatory military service with the Sangmu baseball team. He remained with them in 2023. For the Canberra Cavalry in the 2023-2024 Australian Baseball League, he fielded .944 as their main shortstop while posting a .209/.254/.288 batting line. He returned to the KBO for 2024.
