Biographical Information[edit]
Min-kuk Kim played in the Korea Baseball Organization for 4 years.
Kim played for South Korea in the 1990 Asian Games. The Ssangbangwool Raiders selected him in the first round of the 1994 KBO draft, and he allowed 18 runs in 12 1/3 innings in his first season. Kim had a 10.34 ERA in 7 games in 1995, then he pitched 20 games with a 3.11 ERA in 1996. However, his ERA rose to 6.49 in 33 games in 1997, then the Raiders released him.
Overall, Kim was 3-3 with a 6.46 ERA, struck out 73 and pitched 125 1/3 innings in 4 seasons in the KBO.
