Biographical Information[edit]
Min-hyuk Jung has pitched in the KBO and for the South Korean national team.
Jung was drafted by the Hanwha Eagles in the 9th round of the 2003 KBO draft, and he chose to join Yonsei University first. He represented South Korea in the 2006 Asian Games, but they only won Bronze. Jung then had a 3.86 ERA in 13 games in 2007, and he missed the next two seasons due to military service. He had a 8.38 ERA in 12 games in 2011, then his ERA was 6.16 in 25 relief outings in 2012. He only got 3 appearances in 2013, then he retired in 2015. He later became a scout for the Eagles.
Overall, Jung was 2-2 with a 6.10 ERA, struck out 40 and pitched 62 innings in 4 seasons in the KBO.
