Biographical Information

Min-ho Kim was an infielder in the Korea Baseball Organization. He had played for South Korea in the 1983 Intercontinental Cup and 1983 Asian Championship. He then joined the Lotte Giants in 1984 and hit .257/.328/.336 in 60 games. In 67 games in 1985, he batted .280/.309/.373. In 1986, he hit .233/.286/.333 in 93 contests. During 1987, the Giants infielder hit .264/.358/.356.

In 1988, Kim batted .323/.412/.489 with 14 home runs. During 1989, he hit .291/.4031.403. In 1990, his batting line read .313/.391/.497 and took home All-Star Game MVP honors. During the 1991 campaign, he hit .303/.388/.559 with 20 circuit clouts in a career year.

Kim batted .322/.418/.525 with 28 doubles, 16 homers and 88 RBI in 1992. In 1993, the 32-year-old put up a line of .221/.339/.375. In 1994, he hit .296/.360/.485 with 34 doubles, 15 home runs, 78 RBI and 21 steals (in 24 tries); he had never stolen more than 9 bases before that year.

In 1995, Min-ho hit .215/.261/.342 in 88 games. In 44 contests in 1996, the old-timer batted .172/.264/.333 to conclude his career. He later coached high school baseball.

Overall, Kim hit .278/.362/.435 in the KBO with 106 homers in 1,207 games.
