Biographical Information[edit]

Mike Parisi was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 9th round of the 2004 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Joe Rigoli and made his pro debut that summer.

Parisi made his major league debut as a reliever with the St. Louis Cardinals on May 5, 2008. He appeared in 12 games for the Cardinals that summer, including 2 starts. He went 0-4, 8.22, giving up 37 hits and 24 runs in 23 innings. His minor league career continued until 2013, and he spent time in the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers organizations.

Though born in Hagerstown, MD, pitcher Parisi grew up in Huntington, NY, on Long Island, where he also went to college.
