Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Mike Mordecai managed the Jamestown Jammers, the Florida Marlins affiliate in the New York-Penn League, to a 31-44 record in 2005. That September, he signed a contract with the Marlins and appeared in two games for the club.
In 2018, he joined the staff of the Toronto Blue Jays as a quality control coach. In 2019, he managed the AA New Hampshire Fisher Cats, then stepped down at the end of the season in order to become coach at Northside Methodist Academy.
Notable Achievements[edit]
- Won two World Series with the Atlanta Braves (1995) and the Florida Marlins (2003; he did not play in the World Series)
