Biographical Information[edit]

Mike Huff was signed as a 16th round pick in the 1985 amateur draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers and scout Glen Van Proyen.

Huff recorded a hit in his first major league at bat on August 7, 1989 as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Atlanta Braves. Tom Glavine was the pitcher for the Braves. All of Huff's 9 career home runs were with the bases empty. His best year came with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1994 when he hit .304 with 15 doubles and 25 RBI in 207 at bats.
