Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Mike House had a brief, though successful, minor league career. He was taken by the Minnesota Twins in the 18th round of the 1989 amateur draft.

With the rookie level Elizabethton Twins in 1989, he slashed .376/.474/.633 with 12 home runs, 68 RBI and 54 runs scored in 63 games. The next year, he cooled off to .266/.354/.390, but still hit 10 home runs with 42 RBI in 88 games for the Visalia Oaks. In his two year career, House hit .312/.407/.491 with 22 home runs, 110 RBI and 101 runs scored in 151 games.
