Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Farmer was a left-handed pitcher for the Colorado Rockies in 1996. He is the brother of Howard Farmer, and is one of six pitchers in major league history born in Gary, Indiana.
The Philadelphia Phillies signed Farmer as an amateur free agent in 1989. He was selected by the Rockies in the 1993 minor league draft. The Rockies used Farmer in 7 major league games: his only decision was a loss. Farmer's final major league ERA was 7.71. Farmer was 10-9 with a 4.54 ERA for the 2000 Doosan Bears.
