Biographical Information[edit]
Miguel Stella was an infielder for the Spanish national team. He helped them win Bronze in the 1991 European Championship and was on their roster but did not play in the 1991 Intercontinental Cup. He led Spain's regulars in OBP in the 1992 Olympics, going 4 for 15 with three walks and a double while handling 16 chances error-free as their starting third baseman. Stella fell to .185/.215/.222 and a .882 fielding at third in the 1993 Intercontinental Cup. He hit .138/.219/.183 in the 1993 European Championship and fielded .840 at third, the lowest of any starting third baseman in the event.
