Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Miguel Negron was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the first round of the 2000 amateur draft, with the 18th overall pick, and played six and a half seasons in their organization. In May 2005, he was claimed off waivers by the Chicago Cubs and played the rest of the year for the AA West Tenn Diamond Jaxx. He spent 2007 in the New York Mets farm system. He played in the minor leagues until 2012, spending 2008 to 2011 in the Chicago White Sox system and 2012 in independent baseball.
