Biographical Information[edit]
OF Michael Siani was a member of the United States junior national team at the 2017 U18 Baseball World Cup in Thunder Bay, ON in which the U.S. won the gold medal. In nine games, he hit .333/.409/.487 with 12 runs in 9 games, stealing 7 bases in 8 tries. He led the event in runs (one ahead of Dae-hyun Cho), tied Alek Thomas for 4th in hits (13), tied for first in triples (2), tied Jason Willow for 5th in total bases (19) and led in steals (one ahead of Clayton Keyes). He joined Thomas and Ji-woon Ye as the event's All-Star outfielders.
His brother Sammy Siani has played in the minor leagues.
