Biographical Information[edit]
The Colorado Rockies signed catcher Michael Ramirez out of Venezuela as an international free agent. He played in the Rockies minor league system from 2007-2014 and made a brief AAA appearance in his last season.
Ramirez rejoined the Rockies in 2018 as a DSL Rockies 2 hitting coach and returned to that role in 2019. He was slated to move up to the Lancaster JetHawks in 2020 before the minor league season was cancelled due to COVID-19. Ramirez was a coach for the ACL Rockies in 2021.
