Biographical Information[edit]

Michael Ostlund pitched for the Swedish national team in the 1994 Baseball World Cup. He made one appearance, relieving Petter Vesterlund in the 6th inning of a close game against Puerto Rico; he allowed two hits, a walk and two runs (both earned) in one inning. He was succeeded by Magnus Höglund. He took the loss to Gerald Alvarado. Two Swedish pitchers had higher ERAs in the Cup.
