Michael Kay
Michael Kay is a broadcaster for the New York Yankees on the YES Network. He began broadcasting Yankees games in 1989 and also hosts his own show on ESPN Radio. His first partner on Yankees radio broadcasts was John Sterling, who would go on to announce all Yankees games without missing one until taking a short break for health reasons around the time of the All-Star break in 2019. Ironically, at exactly the same time, Kay, who had since moved to television broadcasts, also announced he was taking a leave of absence, needing surgery to correct an issue with a vocal cord.
