Biographical Information[edit]
Michael Donohue spent the 1930 season as a National League umpire.
He was apparently a minor league player prior to becoming manager of a semi-pro team, the Shell Club of St. Louis, MO from 1924 to 1926. He began umpiring in the Mississippi Valley League in 1927, then moved to the Texas League in 1928 and 1929. After his stint in the NL, he worked in the Pacific Coast League in 1931, in the International League in 1932 and in the New York-Penn League in 1933.
