Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Michael Beltre played in the Cincinnati Reds minor league system from 2013-2019. After not playing during the 2020 COVID-19 year, Beltre moved to the New York Yankees chain for his final two years as a player. Beltre reached AAA in 2022 and played in 22 games for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. Over his nine minor league seasons, Beltre hit .256/.355/.387 while appearing in 672 games. Late in his career he also spent time playing for the Leones del Escogido in the Dominican League.
Beltre announced his retirement in March 2023 and then joined the Boston Red Sox organization as a professional scout.[1] In 2024 he returned to the Reds organization as a coach for the DSL Rojos.
