Biographical Information[edit]
The son of major leaguer Mike Aldrete, nephew of college coach Rich Aldrete, and cousin of minor leaguer Carter Aldrete, pitcher Michael Aldrete was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 39th round of the 2012 amateur draft. He made his pro debut on June 19th of that year with the Johnson City Cardinals.
