Miami Field

From BR Bullpen

Miami Field was built in the early 1920s and was demolished in 1965. It was located on the Southwest corner of what is today a part of the parking lot of Miami's Orange Bowl football stadium. The stadium was the home of the Miami Hustlers (1927-1928), as well as the Miami Wahoos/Miami Seminoles franchise (1940-1942). The Miami Sun Sox called the stadium home from 1946 to August 30, 1949 when the team moved into Miami Stadium. The stadium also hosted the Spring Training games of the Dodgers, Giants, and Browns.
