Mel Gregory was a right fielder and DH for the Australian team in the 2006 Women's Baseball World Cup. She hit .231/~.286/.462 and drove in four runs in five games. She stole one base as well and handled no chances in the outfield. In 2007, Mel competed for Victoria in the Australian National Championships, hitting .524/.667/.667. She fielded 8 for 8 in the outfield. She pitched one complete game win (1-0) with an ERA of 2.21.
