Biographical Information

Pitcher Max Povse made his major league debut with the Seattle Mariners on June 22, 2017, pitching in relief against the Detroit Tigers. In that same game, teammate Andrew Moore had made his debut by pitching seven strong innings, but things did not go nearly as well for Max, as he gave up 3 runs on 4 hits, including a homer by Miguel Cabrera, in two-thirds of an inning to almost blow the Mariners' lead. They held on for a 9-6 win, however.
