Biographical Information

Matt Foran pitched for Team Canada in the 1994 Baseball World Cup, losing both starts. He was against future major leaguer Jonathan Johnson and a Team USA loaded with future big leaguers like Geoff Jenkins and Doug Mientkiewicz and the other was a complete game 5-3 loss to Panama and Dario Agrazal Sr. Only Jeff Zimmerman worked more innings for Canada than his 13 or struck out more than his 11. He had a 2.08 ERA as six of the nine runs off him were unearned.
