Biographical Information[edit]
Matt Schuld has pitched in the minors.
Schuld was a two-time NCAA Division III All-American, being honored in both 2009 and 2010. He was 10-1 with a 2.05 ERA in 2010 and 30-5, 2.93 overall in college. He helped St. Thomas win the 2009 Division III College World Series. After graduating, he became the first St. Thomas player since Jake Mauer (2001) to sign with a MLB team, inking a deal with the Minnesota Twins.
Matt spent the summer of 2010 with the GCL Twins (2-0, Sv, 2.57, 3 BB in 21 IP) and Fort Myers Miracle (0-1, 2 Sv, 3.78, 4 BB in 16 2/3 IP). In 2011, the right-hander split 2011 between the Miracle (4-1, 3.99) and the New Britain Rock Cats (2-2, Sv, 8.12, 1.85 WHIP).
