Biographical Information[edit]

Matt Parker has been a college coach.

Parker was All-TranSouth Conference at Lyon College in 2005. He was an assistant coach at Henderson State University (2005-2006), Garden City Community College (2007-2008) and California Baptist University (2009-2011). He became head coach of Oklahoma Wesleyan University for 2012. After 7 seasons Parker moved to Eastern Oklahoma State College as head coach, replacing Kirk Kelley, who in turn took over for Parker at Oklahoma Wesleyan. Parker had also replaced Kelley at OWU in 2012. He remained through 2022 then became assistant at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi; to that point, he was 467-152 as a head coach.

While at Garden City, Parker was an associate scout for the San Francisco Giants.
