Biographical Information[edit]

Matt Palm is a college coach.

Palm hit .332 as a catcher in college, including .352 as a senior. Matt was then an assistant at Emory University followed by Indiana University in Bloomington. In 1999, he became head coach of Heidelberg University. He went 32-13-1 to set a new school record for wins. In 2003, they won their first regular-season title, followed by their first NCAA playoff trip in 2004. They were 41-10 in 2008 for another win record. He was named Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2009. After a 40-6 season, he guided the school to the 2010 Division III College World Series. After the 2014 season, Palm stepped down to focus on his duties as athletics director. He moved to the University of Findlay as head baseball coach and assistant AD in 2022.
