Matt Noone has been a college coach.
Noone was All-Ivy League twice as a pitcher at Princeton. He was assistant coach at Northeastern University from 1991-2002, teaching history, geography and algebra at St Sebastian's Country Day School at the same time. He also coached for the Bourne Braves and Hyannis Mets in the Cape Cod League. In 2003, he became head coach of Babson College. He led the school to its first New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference title in 2004 and went 23-9 for another title. He was named NEWMAC Coach of the Year in 2004. He was batting practice pitcher for the Boston Red Sox, including in 2004, when they went to the World Series.
