Biographical Information[edit]
Third baseman Matt Moore was taken by the Anaheim Angels in the 22nd round of the 2004 amateur draft, despite not playing baseball (or football for that matter) while spending a year at College of the Canyons. More commonly known as a football quarterback, he did not sign, instead completing his gridiron career at Oregon State University. He began his NFL career in 2007 for the Dallas Cowboys.
Moore spent 2007 to 2010 with the Carolina Panthers and 2011-2017 with the Miami Dolphins, primarily as a backup quarterback.
