Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Matt Flemer began his professional career in 2012 after being drafted twice.

He was originally taken by the Kansas City Royals in 2011 and then by the Colorado Rockies in the 27th round of the 2012 amateur draft. He began his professional career with a 2.12 ERA in 15 relief appearances for the Tri-City Dust Devils that year.

After moving to the starting rotation, Flemer won 13 games for the Modesto Nuts in 2013. By 2016, he was in Triple A, going 6-4 with a 3.74 ERA in 96 1/3 innings in his first stint at that level.
