Biographical Information

Pitcher Matt Bashore was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the supplemental first round of the 2009 amateur draft and made his pro debut that summer with the Elizabethton Twins. However, due to injuries, he pitched less than 20 innings over three years in their organization. He was signed by the New York Yankees prior to the 2012 season. He began the year with the Tampa Yankees, posting a 3.60 ERA over 5 appearances. He then moved on to the Charleston RiverDogs, going 1-4 with a 3.78 ERA in 11 starts.
