Biographical Information[edit]
Matthieu Brelle-Andrade has been a pitcher for the French national team. In the 2002 World University Championship, he retired all 3 batters he faced. [1] He was MVP of the French finals in 2007. [2] He allowed one unearned run in one inning in the 2007 European Championship. [3] He also played for the Templiers de Sénart in Division Elite in 2008 as a utility pitcher [4]. He went 7-3 with a 4.17 ERA in 22 games and struck out 78 in 82 innings. [5] He was 0-1 with a 2.57 ERA in the 2008 European Cup in Regensburg but walked 7 in 7 innings. [6] He retired the only batter he faced in the 2009 European Cup in Matino and was 1 for 6 with a walk, better than most of his teammates offensively. [7]
His teammates have included two brothers, Julien Brelle-Andrade and Pierre Brelle-Andrade as well as cousin Théo Brelle.
