Biographical Information[edit]
Matt Latos was drafted in the 11th round of the 2006 amateur draft as a draft-and-follow pick by the San Diego Padres. Originally committed to the University of Oklahoma, he instead spent a year at Broward Community College then signed with scout Joe Bochy and made his pro debut in 2007.
